Keep your bill under control by tracking the amount you spend on iPad apps. There are many, many helpful apps and it is easy to go overboard. So, it’s important to keep your eye on what you’re spending.

A soft reset is the perfect reboot for a frozen iPad. You can do this by holding down the power button, while at the same time pressing the home button. Hold both down for a few seconds. The device will restart. Hold down the home button if all you need is for an application to close. Keep it held for a second or two.

The iPad shows the first two lines of an email by deafult. You may want to see more before you open it, in some cases. Navigate to Settings and select Mail. Got to Mail and choose Contacts. After that choose Calendar and change the options for previewing mail.

It can be really annoying to have your iPad chime every time you receive an email. Thankfully, this feature can be easily disabled. First, go to your Settings and then General. Select Sounds under the General heading. This will allow you to adjust or turn off any notifications.

If you lose the iPad, do you want to know how to find it? Simply select iCloud under Settings. There, place in your ID. Look then to the bottom area of the page to turn on “Find My iPad.” Just go to iCloud.com if you ever lose the device.

If you need to mute the sound of your iPad quickly, this a useful trick. Just hold the – volume button for a few seconds. This can be a quick way to avoid having to adjust your volume multiple times. Hold it down again when you are ready to return the volume to its original level.

Auto brightness is a wonderful feature to conserve energy and battery. This feature senses the ambient light in the room and adjusts the backlight to suit your surroundings. This technique is perfect for retaining battery capacity and keeping your device alive hours after it has been removed from the charger. You can change it in “Brightness & Wallpaper” within the settings.

As you’ve read, the iPad has many insider items that can fit your needs better. The iPad is a worthy investment when you know what to do with it. Use a few or many of the ideas above to make certain you get the most from your iPad.
