It is important to plan ahead when working with a small living-room. You need to consider that space that you have to work with. To make it work, look for more functional items that serve many different needs. Adding proper lighting can make the small room look much bigger.

Once you figure out what it is you want, you can get the supplies you need. Interior decorating is very rewarding, and once you start, you may get hooked. Make changes a few at a time to discover how easy it is to make your home look better.
