TIP! Be certain to power off your phone occasionally in order to eliminated stored memory from social media apps. It should function much better as a result.

Careful about watching video when you are using 4G or LTE signal. Most plans only allow you a certain amount of data transfer every month. Video will take up a lot of your memory. If you do end up going over, look into a new plan.

Rushing out to buy a cell phone every time a new model comes out is a mistake. Sometimes it’s just not worth it. The updates may only be small. Read several reviews of new models before deciding if you need to make a purchase. Often, the upgrade is unnecessary.

If you have a smartphone, you most likely use it quite often throughout the day. Switch them off occasionally. Any smartphone is like a small computer. You will want it to get restarted once in a while. Simply turning your phone off a couple of times each week will improve how your phone works.

TIP! Don’t automatically throw your phone away if it was dropped into liquid. The best option is to take out the battery and put it in some uncooked rice.

Is your phone battery dying off quickly? Perhaps your signal is weak. Weak signals can drain batteries. When your phone isn’t in use, keep it out of places that lack strong signals.

As well, annual cell phone buyers will see absolutely no benefit to extending the warranty.

TIP! If you’re on LTE or 4G, beware watching videos. Your cellular phone plan usually comes with a finite amount of data every month.

Cell phones get slower with age. So, the longer you own your phone, the more trouble you are likely to have doing updates or even new apps. In many cases, making a choice becomes necessary. You can go with what you have, or you can go ahead and make the upgrade.

It’s a good idea to visit actual stores and compare cell phones side by side in person. Invest time in looking at different models and remember to test their features. You have a better chance of getting you really like.

Do you need a smartphone? They cost a lot, but provide many features. However, if you just want to make and receive calls, you don’t need a smartphone. If this is what you’re like, then you shouldn’t buy a smartphone because it costs more and that may be bad for you. Doing this may not be wise.
