Project by: Clara Jung of Banner Day Consulting
Location: Oakland, California

Clara’s clients had a weird little nook in their home that sat unused, just begging for something to do. They decided not to let limits on space limit their dreams, so they decided to put both a bathroom and a laundry into the same space, divided by a pocket door, and we’re screaming for joy. Not only does the remodel add functionality, it’s easy on the eyes as well. Gorgeous tile and warm wood pack a lot of character into the room, while the color scheme keeps things feeling light and breezy.

The results are whimsical, colorful and largely temporary.

Saving the Style of a Stick Frame Roof in Austin — Professional Project

Project by: Murray Legge Architecture
Location: Austin, Texas

The team over at Murray Legge Architecture wanted to highlight and preserve the ceiling (among other things) in this post war beauty.

Project by: Farr North Interiors

A previous renovation in 2010 gave a perfectly lovely cosmetic upgrade to a once-dated 710-square-foot condo in Boston. Though the modernization created a significant aesthetic improvement, layout and flow issues remained in the 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment originally built in the 1800s. To reconfigure the home, the homeowners brought in Kerry Farr of Farr North Interiors to tackle the small space challenges.
